Why does most of what a plant contains never make it into a supplement?

Extraction is the bottleneck the industry doesn't talk about. Heat, solvents, and time can only pull so much out of a raw material before they hit a structural wall they can't get past. What's left behind isn't a small margin, it's often the majority. Vital Vial exists because we weren't satisfied leaving that on the table.
If extraction is the real bottleneck, why doesn't every company fix it?

Because it's hard, and because most of the industry isn't set up to solve extraction problems, they're set up to formulate and market. Vital Vial started as a materials science problem first, a supplement company second. Our process was built to break down what conventional extraction can't, and that took years to get right.

Why "whole raw material" and not concentrated powders or isolates?

Isolating a single compound is easier and cheaper, but nature rarely works in isolation. Compounds interact, and some of the most meaningful effects come from what's still intact together, not extracted apart. Vital Vial starts with the whole raw material, so nothing is left out before extraction even begins.
What's actually stopping this industry from being more rigorous?
